Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist at our facility, you will be a vital part of our Laboratory team. We support multiple departments, focusing on providing excellent patient care through compassionate, professional interactions and reliable testing. Your responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing patient results, work logs, quality control data, equipment logs, and repairs.
  • Ensuring proficiency testing is performed and data submitted promptly.
  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels and ordering supplies.
  • Staying informed of regulatory requirements and maintaining accreditation standards.
  • Assisting in developing procedure manuals.
  • Introducing new tests to enhance departmental quality and utility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from an accredited institution.
  • National certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent).
  • Hospital or clinical lab experience preferred.
