Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist to support our client’s medical facility in Irving, TX. This is a 3 months assignment with potential extension or conversion, offering a competitive payrate of 35-40 USD per hour on W2.

Responsibilities include specimen acceptability, performing procedures per SOPs, instrument troubleshooting, reagent preparation, reporting results, and maintaining quality control while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, CLS, MT or meet local CLIA/State requirements.
• Minimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• MLT/MLS required.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Proficient with computers.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
• Pass a standardized color vision screen.
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist to support our client’s medical facility based in Irving, TX 75063. This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Medical Lab Scientist

Location : Irving, TX 75063

Duration : 03 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift : Tuesday - Saturday 6a - 2:30p

Payrate : 35-40$/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements.
• Minimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required. State Medical Technologist license may be required (will be listed in requirement if it s needed).
• MLT/MLS required
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Proficient with computers.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
• High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills. Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
