Overview

Z5 Inventory Specialists are responsible for the daily ordering and replenishment of our customer’s RFID-tracked medical supplies within non-acute settings. This role provides inventory management expertise to support organizations in right-sizing inventory, improving efficiencies, streamlining processes, and managing change at the clinical department level, particularly within satellite offices.

Description

The Inventory Specialist will serve in a customer-facing role as a liaison, providing product information and resolving any issues that arise with customer accounts efficiently and accurately. Clear communication and analytical troubleshooting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Daily

  • Tag and register RFID-tracked products
  • Order and replenish products
  • Process on-demand requests
  • Manage asset location and upkeep
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Resolve back-order issues
  • Perform physical inventories of RFID-tracked medical products
  • Track missing inventory
  • Organize, label, and rotate inventory

Monthly

  • Analyze dashboard data and recommend actions to the Team Supervisor
  • Right-size inventory through consolidation, PAR level review, and SKU rationalization
  • Define and assist in project execution
  • Identify, locate, pull, and dispose of expiring or recalled products
  • Attend virtual and in-person team meetings

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage and submit own timecards
  • Maintain point-of-use location data
  • Ensure vendor credentialing compliance

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years experience in inventory management, preferably healthcare
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Immunizations and Background Checks

Must provide documentation of the following immunizations upon hire:

  • TB Test
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal, 2024-2025)

Must pass a drug screen and background check.
