Qualifications

  • Specialized experience includes: managing expendable items and durable medical equipment; forecasting inventory needs; analyzing inventory management reports; utilizing automated inventory management systems; researching and resolving questions and issues; implementing return and reutilization programs.
  • Graduate Education: Successfully completed one full year of graduate level education.
  • Combination: Equivalent combination of education and specialized experience.
  • Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) criteria for qualification at GS-07/GS-09 level.
  • Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Office setting with occasional lifting and handling.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory management of expendable supplies and durable medical equipment in the assigned area.
  • Forecasting short and long-range inventory needs.
  • Analyze inventory management reports and assessment of options for supply support.
  • Utilize automated inventory management systems to maintain current data.
  • Research and resolve questions and issues; support return and reutilization of medical supplies.
