Job summary

BDR Solutions, LLC is hiring Material Coordinators/Inventory Specialists to support inventory and logistics operations at VA medical facilities in the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Area. This role performs advanced inventory management duties supporting clinical operations and patient care.

You will manage inventory using automated systems, conduct daily and wall-to-wall counts, monitor stock and expiration dates, and coordinate deliveries while ensuring safety and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 8 years of inventory, logistics, or supply chain experience (healthcare or warehouse environment preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including email, file management, and navigating common software applications.
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust or equivalent background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage medical and non-medical inventory using automated systems (e.g., GIP).
  • Perform daily, periodic, and wall-to-wall inventories.
  • Monitor stock levels, expiration dates, recalls, and discrepancies.
  • Replenish secondary stock locations and coordinate deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
  • Comply with safety, infection control, and PPE requirements.
  • Communicate with clinical and logistics staff to resolve supply issues.
