Compass Health Center is seeking a Medical Intake Coordinator in Northbrook to manage medical registration for new patients and collaborate with nursing and psychiatry teams. You will document intake information, vital signs, and coordinate with treatment staff while maintaining patient confidentiality.
The role requires strong communication, organization, and a willingness to support multiple departments within a busy mental health facility.
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
The Medical Intake Coordinator is responsible for the medical registration of new patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to communicate patient health information that requires treatment planning and/or further medical consultation. Our location in Northbrook is our first and largest facility, and consists not only of our widest variety of programs, but also serves as a pilot site for many of our new treatment offerings.
Often required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach forward with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, with primary hours of 10:00am-6:00pm. Schedule flexibility given patient and program needs.

The expected compensation range for this role is below.
Compensation$20 — $23 USD
