Job summary

Qualifications

• Analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required to manage complex billing processes.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing/collection workflows.
• Basic familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process inappropriately paid accounts by contacting payers, rebilling, and handling denials.
• Perform follow-up and reconciliation of credit and debit accounts; conduct appeals when needed.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and trend reporting to improve processes and accuracy.
