Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is seeking a Medical Information Manager to ensure that MI content is scientifically balanced, evidence-based, up-to-date and meets the needs of customers to inform clinical care and formulary decisions. The role works closely with Medical Affairs and Commercial teams, manages an MI database, and provides medical sign-off for promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of medical information in a therapeutic area and ability to summarize complex literature for HCPs, payers and customers.
• Strong collaboration with Medical Affairs and Commercial teams across geographies.
• Experience evaluating literature and creating/validating MI content to support launch readiness and payer materials.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and review medical information content for GSK products, ensuring concise, evidence-basedSummaries.
• Maintain MI database with up-to-date launch readiness plans and stakeholder partnerships.
• Develop payer-focused MI content and collaborate with US Medical Affairs, Health Outcomes and Legal teams.
• Localize presentations for HCPs to address new information on products and disease states.
• Provide primary medical sign-off for promotional materials to ensure SOP/compliance.
• Contribute to therapeutic-area cross-functional teams to prioritize MI resources and insights.
• Deliver product and disease training to US medical and sales teams and MI staff.
• Participate in MI workstreams to improve processes and deliverables.
