Job summary

GSK is seeking a Medical Information Manager to ensure MI content is scientifically balanced, evidence-based, and up-to-date to inform clinical care and formulary decisions. The role requires deep therapeutic knowledge and collaboration with Medical Affairs and Commercial teams in the US.

Responsibilities include sign-off on promotional materials, maintaining MI databases, and developing payer-focused content for US stakeholders, with travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D, PhD or equivalent.
• 2+ years post-graduate clinical/pharmaceutical industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience clinical literature evaluation.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and review medical information content to ensure accuracy and balance using the highest level of evidence.
• Primary medical sign-off for review of promotional materials to ensure compliance with SOPs and standards.
• Plan and maintain MI database including launch readiness plans to meet scientific needs.
• Maintain deep scientific expertise on assigned products and MI requirements across geographies.
• Create and update US medical information payer content in collaboration with internal partners.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to localise topic-specific presentations for HCPs to address knowledge gaps.
• Contribute in Therapeutic Area cross-functional teams to discuss strategic priorities and share insights.
• Impart product and disease training to US medical/sales teams and MI staff as needed.
• Participate in MI Workstreams to develop best practices and continuous improvement.
