Job summary

GSK is seeking a Medical Information Manager in the United States to ensure MI content is evidence-based, balanced and up to date, supporting clinical care and formulary decisions. This role partners with Medical Affairs and Commercial teams to translate scientific data into actionable information for HCPs and payers.

Responsibilities include leading medical sign-off on promotional materials, maintaining MI databases, and delivering training to US medical and sales teams while advancing MI

Qualifications

• Pharm.D, PhD or equivalent required.
• 2+ years post-graduate clinical/pharmaceutical industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical literature evaluation.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Experience with reviewing US promotional materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creating, updating and/or reviewing medical information content on GSK products to ensure complex scientific content is summarized concisely and balanced.
• Primary Medical sign off for review of promotional materials to ensure SOP and written standards compliance.
• Plan and maintain a robust MI database with launch readiness plans meeting scientific needs of customers.
• Maintain deep scientific and therapeutic expertise on assigned products and MI requirements across geographies.
• Create/update US payer content by collaborating with US Medical Affairs Leader, US Health Outcomes, Legal and other partners for payer decisions.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to create/update topic-specific presentations for HCPs to share new information and fill knowledge gaps.
• Contribute to Therapeutic Area cross-functional meetings to discuss priorities and ensure MI content is available to meet demand.
• Impart product and disease training to US medical and sales teams and Global MI/MI Contact Center staff as needed.
• Participate in Medical Information Workstreams to develop best practices and continuous improvement for MI deliverables.
