Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Med Imaging Assistant to support technologists by preparing exam rooms, assisting with patient care, and handling scheduling and records. You will work in Banner Imaging at 1125 S Alma School Rd, Suite 110, Chandler, AZ, in a patient-focused, fast-paced environment.

The role requires high school education, BLS certification, and strong communication. You will use PACS and EMR systems daily, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and courteous service for patients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and judging/discretion skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.
• Ability to multitask in a busy medical office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and staff; answer calls; schedule appointments.
• Enter patient data and scan documents into PACS.
• Maintain complete patient records and chart forms.
• Assist in preparing procedure rooms and patient transport.
• Verify insurance, collect copays, and prepare charts for discharge.
