Wellstar is seeking a MI Scheduling Scheduler to join our scheduling team. You will schedule Medical Imaging appointments by phone, in person, or via referrals, ensuring accurate data and adherence to coding guidelines.

In this fast-paced role you will handle high call volumes, verify patient information and insurance, and collaborate with physicians offices to coordinate tests and appointments across facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or medical scheduling.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Proficiency with computers and data entry.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Attention to detail and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Medical Imaging appointments via inbound/outbound calls or in person.
