Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Columbus, OH is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to service imaging equipment across the Columbus area. This field-based, customer-facing role involves installing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.

You will represent Siemens as the Face of Siemens to customers and adjust work shifts, on-call rotations, and overtime as needed after onboarding. A valid driver’s license and strong electronics background are essential.

Qualifications

Service Area – Columbus, OH

Shift: Monday through Friday, 12p – 9p (post‑onboarding / training)

Responsibilities

• Servicing imaging equipment in the Columbus area. Customer Service Engineer level can be adjusted based on prior experience.
• Field‑based, customer‑facing role installing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Represent Siemens as the "Face of Siemens" to customers.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, on‑call rotations, and overtime as needed.
• Report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

Position Suitability

This position is suitable for candidates familiar with the following:

• Performs service, preventive maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment with minimal supervision.
• Has previous experience with desired medical imaging equipment.
• Can establish and maintain business relationships and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
• Strong background with electronics and skilled in service tools and test equipment.
• Proficient PC skills (MS Windows, Office 365).
