Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to support imaging staff, manage patient flow, and transport patients between floors and imaging areas. Under supervision, you will greet patients, assist with transfers, and ensure safety in all procedures.

The role also involves transporting decedents to the morgue, following morgue workflow, and assisting with housekeeping duties as needed. Per diem position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Healthcare provider BLS certification is required before start date.
• Must complete or have completed a 7-hour HIV/AIDS training course within first month.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients and coordinate patient flow between departments.
• Assist modality technologists in transferring patients to/from imaging tables.
• Transport patients to the imaging area, bed, stretcher, or wheelchair as needed.
• Transport decedents to the morgue and follow morgue workflow.
• Perform minor housekeeping duties as required.
