Job summary

This full-time role involves greeting patients, obtaining vitals, preparing for procedures, collecting specimens, and documenting interactions in the EMR, with coordination via MyChart and phone.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, CMA certification (MA-C), WA DOH certification, CPR, and strong customer service. EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
• MA-C certification required or interim MA-C with six-months to obtain MA-C.
• Current healthcare CPR certification required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with EMR systems, EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for the healthcare practitioner.
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for procedures.
• Collect specimens and document interactions in the EMR.
• Communicate with patients via MyChart and by phone.
• Support care teams in the Medical Imaging Department.
