Shared Medical Services is seeking a part-time Medical Imaging Assistant to join our ONETEAM. You will work with a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, supporting technologists and engaging with patients across facilities while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities include assisting with IV starts, patient transport, and administrative tasks, with opportunities for ESOP benefits and 401k. Must be 21+, able to lift up to 75 lbs, and willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy/IV experience preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsabilités

• Assist technologist in starting IVs.
• Provide patient care on a mobile route including comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Transport patients between facilities and the mobile scanner.
• Assist in completing forms and positioning patients for examinations.
• Complete time/activity reports and billing as needed.

We are currently seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join our team. This position offers a unique change of scenery by means of working on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, and ability to meet new people from various facilities. Responsibilities:

• Assist technologist in starting IVs
• Assist in providing excellent patient care on a mobile medical route, including maintaining patient comfort, safety and confidentiality
• Assist in transporting patients between the medical facility and the mobile scanner
• Assist the Medical Technologist in completing applicable forms and positioning patients on the scanner to facilitate the examination
• Complete necessary administrative tasks (i.e. time/activity reports and billing)

Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy/IV experience preferred but not required
• Must be willing to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical
• You must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
• You must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Travel Perks - paid drive time and mileage and more depending on position
