Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical ICU at Physicians Regional Medical Center – Pine Ridge campus delivers patient-centered critical care, coordinating with physicians, nurses and the care team to ensure timely, evidence-based treatment.

This full-time day shift role requires 0–2 years of acute care experience, RN licensure, BLS, and strong assessment, patient education, and documentation skills; ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN license in state or compact state required.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Collaborates to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
