Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services in Williams, CA is hiring a helicopter pilot for full-time medical air transport. The role requires a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and medical certification, with extensive flight-hour and mountain-time qualifications.

In addition to a competitive salary of $106,511–$117,162 (20% geo modifier), incentives include a $15,000 sign-on bonus, a $40,000 retention plan after 3 years, a $5,000 fire stipend, on-duty housing in select locations, and

Qualifications

• Must hold Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Must have Helicopter Instrument Rating
• Must hold FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
• Meets U.S. Forest Service carding requirements: 100 flight hours past 12 months, 50 hours in AS350, 200 hours mountain flight, 2000 total flight hours, 1500 helicopter hours, 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided, 230 lb weight limit with gear

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with medical teams to and from various locations
• Ensure aircraft readiness and comply with FAR/REACH requirements and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following change board protocols
