Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The position offers a salary range of $106,511–$117,162 with a 20% geo modifier, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $40,000 retention bonus after 3 years.

On-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule are included. Responsibilities include transporting patients with a team of medical experts, ensuring aircraft readiness per manuals, maintaining regulatory documentation, and coordinating with dispatch and flight

Qualifications

• FAA Rotorcraft Commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 total flight hours required.
• 1,500 helicopter hours required.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours required.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours required.
• 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispositions per manuals and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, including FARs and cleaning duties.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
