The Director partners with physician leaders and executive teams in a clinical/administrative shared leadership model to implement strategic initiatives.

The role develops talent, ensures policy compliance, and aligns clinic goals with UVA CH.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; relevant experience may substitute.
• Five years of leadership experience required.
• Physician practice leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and reimbursement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for UVA Community Health Medical Group practices.
• Lead strategic planning, annual plans, and performance initiatives.
• Develop talent, build high-performing teams, and hold clinic managers accountable.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards across clinics.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors and executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
