Axes PT is excited to be expanding and is actively seeking Medical Front Office Supervisor candidates to join our team at the Ballwin Clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about healthcare to make a difference and advance their careers.

This position involves managing daily front office operations in our outpatient physical therapy center. Responsibilities include supporting clinical staff, enhancing patient and client experiences through effective communication, scheduling, and handling patient and insurance information. Key duties also include insurance verification, authorization, collection, and monitoring patient balances, in coordination with billing and accounts receivable.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Align job duties with organizational core values
  2. Provide client and patient-centered interactions both in person and over the phone
  3. Manage scheduling of new and follow-up patients efficiently
  4. Ensure accurate data entry and adherence to front office processes
  5. Gather and verify insurance benefits, communicating clearly with patients
  6. Support clinical team scheduling and patient follow-ups
  7. Assist with inventory and clinic appearance maintenance
  8. Support patient paperwork completion and assist with patient care as needed
  9. Maintain professional interactions with external contacts like physicians and insurance providers
Experience and Skills Required:
  1. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  2. Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  3. Initiative and problem-solving skills
  4. Effective verbal and written communication
  5. Teamwork and confidentiality adherence
  6. Knowledge of insurance EOB and EMR systems preferred
Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma (Associates preferred)
  2. At least 3 years of customer service and computer skills
  3. Medical office experience is a plus
