Position: Medical Front Office - Patient Service Specialist

Location: 1210 Bethlehem Pike, North Wales, PA 19454

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays (Hours Vary)

Compensation: $17-$18/hour - based on experience

As a patient service specialist at our outpatient physical therapy center in North Wales, you'll manage both the patient and business sides of our center, ensuring an exceptional experience starting at the front desk. Your role can significantly impact each patient's care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and register patients, provide information about their visit, and inform them about their next appointment during check-out
  • Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
  • Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team
  • Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Healthcare experience
