Job summary

Marana Health is seeking a Front Office Receptionist to join the Medical team at the Marana Main Health Center, located in Marana, AZ. This role provides front desk support, greets patients, verifies demographics and insurance, collects payments, and schedules appointments to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Arizona driver’s license, and strong customer service skills, with preference for healthcare reception experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Driver's license with clean driving record and proof of vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in patients in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• Verifies insurance, address, telephone number and makes necessary changes in the PMS.
• Answers questions regarding patient accounts and services.
• Collects payments per policy and collects co-pay before services.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and balances daily charges.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provides coverage for other health centers as required.
