Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Front Desk Associate in Bethlehem to support patient flow and insurance processing. You will check patients in and out, copy insurance cards, verify referrals, and ensure referrals are presented.

You will enter data in the EMR, verify insurance details, and schedule appointments. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and experience in a medical-office setting; knowledge of ICD-10/CPT and MS Office is preferred and NextGen experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Nextgen knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out; copy patient insurance cards and verify referrals.
• Complete and enter information in the EMR system; verify insurance details.
• Schedule patients and assist with other office tasks as needed.
