Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Front Desk employee to greet patients, handle check-in/check-out, copy insurance cards and verify referrals. You will enter and verify insurance in the EMR, schedule patients and assist with other office tasks.

The position offers a 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule, with potential overtime. Eligible for a $1,000 Hiring Incentive paid in two installments after 90 days and after one year of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year front desk experience in a medical office or equivalent (desirable).
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and Microsoft Office Suite.
• NextGen knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out, copy insurance cards, and ensure referrals are presented.
• Complete information in the EMR system and verify insurance.
• Schedule patients and assist with other office-related tasks.
