Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking a Front Desk/Patient Concierge to join our team in Reading. You will check patients in and out, copy insurance cards, and ensure referrals are presented. You will also enter information in the EMR system and verify insurance details.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, plus 1 year front desk experience in a medical office (preferred) and knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and Microsoft Office. NextGen knowledge is a plus. Day shift, full-time with overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience in a medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and Microsoft Office Suite.
• NextGen knowledge is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out and copy insurance cards.
• Ensure referrals are presented and enter data in the EMR.
• Verify insurance information and schedule patients.
• Assist with other office-related tasks as needed.
