Job summary

Agiliti is seeking candidates for a DOD SkillBridge Medical Equipment Technician Internship that trains across Electro‑Mechanical equipment. Interns will learn through a blend of hands-on work and classroom sessions under the guidance of a Biomedical Equipment Technician supervisor.

The program focuses on developing essential skills in inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical devices. Benefiting from mentorship and a structured training plan, interns participate in hands-on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interfacing.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Willing to travel periodically to support business needs.
• Able to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices.
• Complete all paperwork and data entry accurately for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on equipment features and functionality.
