Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. offers a DOD SkillBridge internship program for transitioning service members to train as Medical Equipment Technician or Biomedical Equipment Technician.

The 4–6 month program provides hands-on experience, mentoring, and a structured training plan across multiple locations. Interns will gain experience in inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical devices, with opportunities for competency verification and potential for full-time roles in a nationwide

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interfacing.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Willing to travel periodically to support business needs.
• Able to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices.
• Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and required regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on equipment features, functionality, etc.
