Job summary

Proactive Health in Payson, AZ is seeking a Mobile Patient Onboarding Specialist to visit patients at home, set up health monitoring devices, and guide users through onboarding surveys. You'll work a part-time schedule, starting from your home with routes tailored to minimize drive time.

You will unbox, test, and install devices, provide patient and family instruction with warmth, complete digital intake on a company tablet, and document visit notes in the mobile app.

Job Title: Mobile Patient Onboarding Specialist – Medical Equipment Technician (Payson area)

Job Type: Part-Time | Hourly Non-Exempt

Pay: $22.00 / hour + Company Fuel Card

Location: Payson, AZ (Dispatched from home; local route travel)

About the Role

Proactive Health is transforming senior care by bringing vital health monitoring directly to patients' homes. As a Mobile Patient Onboarding Specialist or Installers as we call them, you are the welcoming, reassuring face of our company. We are looking to grow our team in the Payson area to serve our patients.

You will visit patients in their homes to set up user-friendly health monitoring devices (sleep mat, blood pressure cuffs, weight scales), show them how easy they are to use, and complete their digital onboarding survey.

• No office commute: You start your shift directly from home each day.
• Fully paid travel: All driving time between patient visits is paid at your full $22/hr hourly rate.

What You’ll Do

• Travel to scheduled patient visits throughout your assigned territory (routes optimized for minimal drive time).
• Unbox, plug in, test and install cellular biometric monitoring equipment.
• Walk elderly patients and their family members through simple, day-to-day use of their devices with patience and warmth.
• Complete an initial digital intake questionnaire on a company tablet (gathering basic health history, active conditions, and current medication lists).
• Provide friendly troubleshooting support visits and collect equipment when a patient concludes service.
• Document visit notes and patient status accurately through our mobile app.

What You’ll Need

• Must be 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License, active personal auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a standard background check.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills—especially when speaking with older adults.
• Tech-fluent: Comfortable navigating tablets, smartphone apps, and Bluetooth/cellular pairing.
• Helpful Backgrounds (Preferred, not required): Medical Assistant (MA), CNA, Phlebotomist, Home Health Aide, DME delivery, or customer service/retail tech support (e.g., Geek Squad).
