Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. in Colorado is seeking a patient-focused technician to set up CPAPs and RADs, maintain CPAP/RAD compliance, manage CPAP/RAD supplies and inquiries, and perform related tasks to support the center's operations.

The role includes in-home setup of oxygen equipment when needed, documenting procedures, supervising safety, on-call responsibilities, and a requirement to drive a personal vehicle with a valid license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret instructions and effectively communicate them to patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs CPAP/RAD setups in a timely and professional manner.
• May also perform setup of oxygen equipment and other DME in patients' homes as well; includes completion of all required documentation and patient instruction.
• Cleans rental equipment when returned to the center and maintains warehouse/storage area.
• Monitors CPAP/RAD Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients.
• Receives and responds to patient requests for CPAP/RAD supplies, including insurance verification and arranging shipping.
• Monitors mdINR Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients.
• Manage the center's oximetry process.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities for the center.
• Represents the company through professional personal appearance and patient care activities.
• Requires use of personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Job description

This employee will set up CPAPs, Respiratory Assist Devices (RADs), maintain CPAP/RAD Compliance, manage CPAP/RAD supplies/inquiries/orders, call mdINR missed appointments, manage Oximetry process, and complete all other tasks assigned/related to the functionality of the center.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs CPAP/RAD setups in a timely and professional manner
  • May also perform setup of oxygen equipment and other DME in patients' homes as well
  • This includes completion of all required documentation, instructs patient on the safe and proper use of equipment
• Cleans rental equipment when returned to the center, in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area
• Monitors CPAP/RAD Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients
• Receives and responds to patient requests for CPAP/RAD supplies, including insurance verification, confirmation of the specific supplies needed, and arranging for them to be shipped to the patient
• Monitors mdINR Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients
• Manage the center's oximetry process
• Follows applicable policies and procedures of the company, including those in the Safety & Regulatory Manual including but not limited to General Safety, OSHA, and Emergency Planning
• Responsible for participating in on-call responsibilities for the center
  • The frequency of participation will depend on the size of the center and the number of employees sharing the responsibility
• Represents the company through professional personal appearance, patient care activities
• May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation, illness, or other periods of absenteeism
• Requires use of personal vehicle and a valid driver's license
• Offering $15.16 - $23.00 per hour
