Agiliti Health, Inc. in Homewood, AL is seeking an Equipment Processor II to process and inspect medical equipment, disassemble/reassemble as needed, and manage accessories with precise data entry and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, ability to lift 75 pounds, and flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays. Hours are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, four days per week, with every 3rd weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect medical equipment; disassemble and reassemble as needed.

Job description

The Equipment Processing Technician is responsible for processing and inspecting medical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling it and processing and managing the associated accessories, in a district office. The Equipment Processing Technician also is responsible for the entry of data associated with these tasks.

Starting Pay: $19+ per hour + benefits

UAB Main & UAB Women and Infants

Will work both UAB Bed Program and UAB NICU

Position Hours: 7a-5:30p (4days week)

Every 3rd Weekend Shift (7a-5:30p)

Knowledge and Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in hospital setting or customer service preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.
• Able to lift and/or push 75 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
