Job summary

Agiliti in Homewood, Alabama, is seeking an Equipment Processor II to disassemble, process, inspect, and reassemble medical equipment and manage related accessories. You will enter data and support inventory, with a 7a-5:30p schedule over four days and every third weekend shift. This role requires flexibility and a detail-focused approach to ensure quality.

• Prior hospital or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Job description

The Equipment Processing Technician is responsible for processing and inspecting medical equipment, including disassembling and reassembling it and processing and managing the associated accessories, in a district office. The Equipment Processing Technician also is responsible for the entry of data associated with these tasks.

Starting Pay: $19+ per hour + benefits

UAB Main & UAB Women and Infants

Will work both UAB Bed Program and UAB NICU

Position Hours: 7a-5:30p (4days week)

Every 3rd Weekend Shift (7a-5:30p)

Knowledge And Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in hospital setting or customer service preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.
• Able to lift and/or push 75 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
