In the role of Medical Equipment Planner II, you'll be responsible for:
  • Providing medical equipment solutions to clients across various locations and treatment areas
  • Facilitating user group meetings to assist in the planning process
  • Discussing advantages and disadvantages of specific medical equipment types and helping clients select suitable equipment for their healthcare environments, including inventory assessment and integration of existing equipment
  • Collaborating with a Senior Planner and the design team, including architects, engineers, and other consultants, to incorporate equipment needs into the project
  • Preparing reports, schedules, location drawings/documents, and budgets for planned equipment
  • Traveling approximately 50% of the time
  • Performing other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience or interest in sustainable design/LEED
  • Preference for local candidates

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of medical equipment planning experience
  • Clinical background in Nursing, Purchasing, Biomedical Engineering, or other specialties is highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of medical equipment and hospital environments
  • Professional interaction skills with healthcare clients and design team members
  • Knowledge of current medical equipment technology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
