Job summary

The Equipment Technician at HCA HealthONE Swedish will manage mobile medical equipment (MME) within the facility, coordinating with the equipment coordinator, supply chain, and clinical leaders to ensure daily readiness and proper usage.

Responsibilities include maintaining PAR levels, coordinating with Biomed for asset tagging and tracking, and processing rental requests and invoices to support smooth facility operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous stock clerk experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the equipment coordinator and/or supply chain director in daily equipment management.
• Respond promptly to requests from facility staff for rental equipment and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with Biomed to check, asset tag, and add equipment to the tracking system.
• Maintain PAR levels in collaboration with unit leadership to ensure proper stock.
• Use tools and reporting to drive high utilization and prevent equipment loss.
• Manage rental equipment requests and returns within the service center or facility.
• Maintain paperwork including entry/exit forms and rental invoices.
• Review and audit monthly rental reports and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Maintain relationships with rental equipment vendors.
