Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is seeking an Equipment Inventory Coordinator to manage initial receiving, asset tagging, delivery, and maintenance of rental medical equipment. The role includes administrative tasks such as handling entry/exit forms and reviewing rental reports and invoices.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, monitor equipment location, and ensure proper return and redeployment of assets while communicating with customers and the Biomed team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.
• Previous equipment management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of the receiving, delivery, and returns process.
• Receive all CERs for rental fleet and verify documents.
• Asset tagging and cleaning of new equipment.
• Maintain rental equipment with Biomed team and related paperwork.
• Review monthly rental reports and invoices for discrepancies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with rental equipment vendors.
• Ensure timely return of rental equipment and redeploy as needed.
• Review stats orders and take appropriate actions.
• Monitor facility utilization and report needs to SCD.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the management team.
