Job summary

Integra Healthcare Equipment, Inc. is hiring a Medical Equipment Technician/Delivery Driver in Bloomington, IL. The role includes driving a 16 ft box truck, delivering/setting up hospital beds and related devices, and training patients and caregivers on safe use.

You will coordinate with patients to schedule deliveries, maintain orderly routes, and ensure documentation is accurate. The position requires a valid license, DOT medical certification, background checks, and physical ability to lift

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with no major infractions in 3 years.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Must be insurable and meet insurance carrier requirements.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Must work afternoons, rotating weekends, and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 16 ft box truck daily; keep the delivery truck stocked and organized.
• Contact patients by telephone to schedule deliveries and plan routes.
• Communicate professionally with customers while showing empathy for their needs.
• Manage routes to meet delivery timeframes.
• Assemble medical equipment and educate caregivers/patients on safe use.
• Install, pickup, and service basic DME equipment.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code and safety standards.
• Assist training of new employees when required.
