Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. delivers home medical equipment and provides patient education and equipment setup to patients in their homes. The Delivery Driver role emphasizes safety, timeliness, and exceptional customer service, with ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include following delivery routes, maintaining the vehicle, and assisting patients with equipment use, while supporting on-call coverage during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience
• Must hold a valid Driver's License and meet DOT/FMCSA requirements
• Excellent communication and people skills a must

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to routes and schedules
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle; ensure safety during loading/unloading
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients and team members
• Read and understand DOT and FDA paperwork
• Work on-call evenings and weekends as needed
