Job summary

Your Health Organization is hiring a Delivery Medical Associate to securely transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patients’ homes. The role requires safe operation of a delivery vehicle, adherence to traffic laws, and accurate delivery documentation to ensure timely service and high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in medical equipment delivery is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient’s residences.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any equipment-related documentation.
