Your Health Organization is seeking a Delivery Medical Associate to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patients’ residences in the [LOCATION] area. This full-time driver role emphasizes safety, timeliness, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license with a clean record, plus the ability to lift heavy equipment and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure that equipment is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Verify and document the condition of equipment upon delivery and return.
• Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient’s residences.
• Ensure proper functioning and placement of installed equipment.
• Provide basic instructions to clients on the initial use of installed equipment.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any equipment-related documentation.
