Job summary

MPE is seeking an electrical assembler to own the build quality of medical carts and enclosures in a cleanroom environment. You’ll wire, solder, test, and assemble components, ensuring each unit meets safety and performance standards.

The role requires 1+ year of electrical assembly, ability to read mechanical drawings, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Second shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) in Milwaukee, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for certification.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of electrical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools; diligent with quality checks.
  • Comfortable reading and following detailed directions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute electrical assembly and sub-assembly in a climate- and particulate-controlled area.
  • Follow ESD requirements and uphold ISO Class 5 cleanroom practices.
  • Use precision torque tools and clear work instructions to guide each build step.
  • Contribute to mechanical final assembly and subassemblies based on production needs.
  • Verify components and, when needed, validate peers’ work against quality benchmarks.
  • Champion safety through consistent PPE use and adherence to regulations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and assembly issues to maintain flow and quality.
  • Keep a 6S workstation that reflects your pride in craftsmanship.
  • Advance via structured training to Level Two and Level Three (each requires a minimum of six months of training, Team Lead approval, and completion of prior certification).
