Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an assembler to build complex medical devices through precise assembly, inspection, and documentation. This role involves working with microscopes, measuring tools, and hand instruments to follow documented procedures.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues, perform quality checks, and ensure traceable records while adhering to FDA and GMP requirements. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years related experience.
• Must have good hand eye coordination while using a microscope.
• Good manual dexterity and steady hands.
• Experience in lean manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into medical devices in accordance with approved procedures.
• Assembly may involve miniature components under a microscope.
• Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished product.
• Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor and projects.
• Train other assemblers on a wide range of tasks.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and rework parts to incorporate changes.
