Medical Education Specialist Germany & Austria

Key Responsibilities

Medical Education

• Develop and execute a strategic KOL engagement plan aligned with business and medical education objectives. Build long-term partnerships with key opinion leaders and identify emerging experts to strengthen Teoxane's scientific network.
• Drive the local Medical Education strategy and provide recommendations based on customer insights, market trends and competitive intelligence.
• Identify, recruit, develop and mentor Teoxane faculty members to ensure sustainable growth of the national speaker and trainer network.
• Conduct regular field visits to strengthen customer relationships, identify clinical and educational needs, and generate actionable market insights.
• Coordinate with local, regional, and international Teoxane key opinion leaders ensuring appropriate process for FMV, honoraria and CME guidelines.
• Create and execute education program and state-based training initiative(s) as well as identify potential partnerships with external training institutions for mutually beneficial collaboration.
• Define, monitor and report KPIs for educational activities, faculty engagement and training effectiveness, implementing continuous improvement measures where required.
• Validation of brochures and online texts.
• Generate actionable market and clinical insights and translate them into recommendations for commercial, medical and educational activities. Co-creation and local adaptation of Medical Training content and presentations in collaboration with the global and national medical education team.
• Regular travel within Germany and participation in international meetings and congresses required (approximately 30% of working time).

Medical Affairs

• Share and distribute regular and systematic publication reviews and creation of a publication library for KOLs, customers and Teoxane-internal usage.
• Support initiation and follow-up of clinical and observational studies along with publications.

Regulatory Affairs

• Support local execution of the global regulatory strategy and manage regulatory issues/requests arising from the global regulation team and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain current technical files, product registrations, wholesale licensing and distribution to ensure compliance with EU and national regulatory bodies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as strategic medical partner to Sales and Marketing, ensuring scientific credibility of campaigns, customer engagements and educational initiatives.
• Works closely with the Sales Lead and Marketing & Medical Education Lead.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a background in pharmacy.
• 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position in pharmaceutical or medical devices sector.
• Proficiency in German and very good knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to travel in Germany and Austria.
