Job summary

Oakland University is seeking an Art & Practice of Medicine Course Coordinator to provide administrative support for the Clinical Skills Center on the Troy campus. You will manage scheduling, purchasing, payroll, logistics, and records, and oversee standardized patients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least three years of progressive administrative experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Minimum three years progressive administrative experience, preferably in an education setting.
• Experience interacting with students in a post-secondary setting, including larger groups of students and students under stress.
• Knowledge of specific terminology of the unit and program area.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with a wide variety of individuals, including physicians and faculty, students, patients, standardized patients, and the general public.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong technical database skills.
