Job summary

P3 Health Partners, Inc. seeks a Manager, Medical Economics to lead market-level medical expense analytics from raw data to reports. You will own end-to-end processes for assigned markets, using SQL to transform claims data and present findings to leadership and payer partners.

The role requires 5+ years in medical economics or healthcare analytics, a Bachelor's, and experience with Medicare Advantage or risk-based products. Hybrid/remote options offered with quarterly travel to key markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in medical economics or healthcare analytics.
• Strong SQL skills to pull and summarize large datasets.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage or other risk-based products.

Responsibilities

• Build monthly medical expense PMPM trend reports by market, product, and population segment.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities within markets and analyze high-cost claims and site-of-service patterns.
• Present trend reporting and findings to market leadership and payer partners on a recurring cadence.
• Support reporting to track affordability initiative performance in markets.
• Produce facility and provider-level reports including cost per unit and utilization rates.
• Support data-driven market share and efficiency analyses for network strategy.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests from leadership, payers, and the Director.
