Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Columbus, OH. You will operate a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies, while maintaining safety and professional client interaction.

The role uses a handheld scanner, routes per client needs, and requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving history. Training provided, with a full-time, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM schedule, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Most of your day will be spent driving a company-owned vehicle delivering lab specimens and medical supplies.
• Operate a handheld scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items using appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
• Handle varying routes as assigned by client and business needs.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support operations.
• Contribute to a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
