Trinity Health Of New England seeks a Medical Dosimetrist to join our Hartford radiation oncology team. You will design and optimize treatment plans to deliver prescribed doses safely and precisely.

Collaborating with oncologists, physicists, and therapists, you will contour structures, perform QA, and ensure compliance with safety standards. A Bachelor's degree and MDCB certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• MDCB certification required.
• Proficiency in treatment planning software and imaging interpretation.

Responsabilités

• Design and optimize radiation therapy plans to deliver prescribed doses while avoiding critical structures.
• Identify and contour structures using CT/MRI/PET; perform image registration and create reference images.
• Perform complex dose calculations for external beam and brachytherapy with safety standards.
• Supervise or assist in creating immobilization devices and beam-modifying tools.
• Consult with oncologists and physicists; communicate treatment parameters to therapists.
• Participate in QA/QC; verify equipment setup and maintain records.
