Responsibilities

• Design and optimize radiation therapy plans to deliver prescribed doses while avoiding critical structures.
• Identify and contour structures using CT/MRI/PET data and perform image registration.
• Perform complex dose calculations for external beam and brachytherapy; ensure safety standards.
• Supervise or assist in creating immobilization devices and beam-modifying tools.
• Collaborate with oncologists and physicists; communicate treatment parameters to therapists.
• Participate in QA/QC processes and maintain accurate treatment records.
