Job summary

Advocate Health’s Charlotte facility seeks a Medical Dosimetrist to develop and optimize dose distributions for external beam and brachytherapy, including 3-D planning and IMRT. You will coordinate with staff to implement treatment plans and support clinical research activities.

Qualified candidates hold a JRCERT dosimetry program credential, with certification due within one year, and experience with planning systems and MDCB requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Medical Dosimetry program and board eligible.
• Certification required within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatment planning dose distributions for external beams and brachytherapy (3-D, IMRT, seed implants, SRS).
• Oversee dosimetry practices and procedures.
• Consult with staff on treatment plan implementation.
• Create software files for localization and ensure staff implementation.
