Job summary

Qualifications include 4–8 years of dosimetry experience, a related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and certification eligibility. Truebeam and Trilogy experience preferred; relocation assistance available where applicable.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of dosimetry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Certification or eligible for certification as Medical Dosimetrist.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as necessary.
• Experience using Truebeam and Trilogy treatment machines.

Responsibilities

• Designs an effective treatment plan by computer/manual computation delivering prescribed dose.
• Ensures dose-limiting structures are considered in plan design.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient treatment plans and related documents.
• Participates in Quality Assurance and Improvement activities.
• Communicates with Radiation Therapists in plan implementation and uses immobilization devices correctly.
• Performs calculations for accurate delivery and verifies calculations.
• Acts in clinical research for new techniques in dosimetry.
• Maintains ongoing continuing education in treatment planning techniques.
