Job summary

Kedplasma, a Kedrion Biopharma Inc. subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Screener to join our team. You will greet donors, conduct health screenings, and monitor safety while helping ensure donor eligibility and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, courteous donor interactions, and teamwork to meet production goals in a community-focused plasma center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Clinical Laboratory Personnel in Louisiana required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred in healthcare, retail, or plasma/blood collection.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors with accurate data entry.
• Guide donors through health screening and assess need for medical review.
• Take vital signs and perform fingerstick sampling to measure hematocrit and total protein.
• Prepare and calibrate screening equipment per SOPs; troubleshoot as needed.
• Monitor donor safety and report adverse reactions to medical staff.
• Explain donation process and center policies clearly and professionally.
• Maintain donor records meeting cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Operate systems like NDDR and CDCS per guidelines.
• Keep work area clean, stocked, and track supply lot numbers.
• Assist with plasmapheresis preparation and donor comfort.
